Left a very wet looking Manchester this morning, arrived at Heathrow at around 11 am, straight to Witherspoons for something to eat, a pint of London Pride for Martin and a Kopperburg for me. BA no longer provide free panninis we got a bag of healthy nuts instead! 11 hour flight from here direct to Phoenix, unfortunately we had "those" people right in front of us, you know the ones, they have to put their chairs all the way back the second the seatbelt sign goes off! the couple were behaving like they were in the 5 mile high club and were nearly in Martins lap! After 2 hours of this Martin had had enough and pushed the guys chair as far forward as it would go, leant over them and said "I've just about had enough of you, is your middle name inconsiderate". the woman then pulled her chair forward and they never moved an inch for the rest of the journey - success! finally arrived at Mandy and David's at around 7pm (3 am our time!). There was a fantastic thunder and lightening storm last night, we sat out on the veranda to watch it. Apparently there were over 1000 strikes an hour!
